It took eleven solid hours of sleep, but I am finally caught up from FinCon11. I don’t think I’ve ever had to “recover” from a conference before. Financial bloggers are a party rockin’ crowd.
As an exhibition sponsor of the event we didn’t get a chance to see any of the speakers, but we did get a chance to tell almost all of you about our budget software. The response was overwhelmingly positive. In fact, I don’t think I heard one negative reaction (granted, I think our competitors kept their distance). We’re actually a little bummed we didn’t get to chat with some of them.
The event was a great success for us. We had the privilege of having so many awesome conversations with some really killer bloggers. There are too many to name here but a few stand out, so I’ll give them a shout out.
J. Money from BudgetsAreSexy.com (this guy is like a rock star), Peter from Bible Money Matters (glad we were able to hook you up with a shirt!), FMF of Free Money Finance, Flexo from Consumerism Commentary (we look forward to being on the podcast), Ben from Money Smart Life (this guy is wicked smart –it was good talking software with you, man), Shannyn from Frugal Beautiful, Andrea from So Over Debt, and, of course, last but not least Phil from PT Money (Phil organized the whole event and made it super easy for us sponsors to get everything set up).
Anyways, we had a great time at FINCON11. The Storm killed it on the dance floor — this man is legend. Thank you so much for coming by and saying “hello”. You guys are truly awesome. With that said, the answer is yes, we’d love to sponsor FINCON12 and we can’t wait to see you all again! BLOG ON!
What did you think of us? Did you like our booth? How about the foam fingers? What can we do better next year? We look forward to hearing your feedback –it’s much appreciated!

It looks like it was colorful! Where can I learn more about THE STORM?
One cannot see The Storm unless one heightens one’s consciousness to a higher vibrational level. I suggest you meditate on the mighty Fro, and chant his name with deep reverence… and then.. if you’ve been blessed, he will appear –and steal your girl.
Hey Ryan, it was great chatting with you about some of the upcoming features of Budgetable! I still have some ideas for you about how to spread the word about your software so give a call sometime.
You too man. Will ring you soon.
